SFB Chlorella is grown according to the specifications of German charges and is certified organic by DE-ÖKO this organization.
The farms are located in preserved areas: they are far from urban areas, industries or agricultural areas.
The temperature difference between summer and winter is low and sunshine averages 1800 to 2600 hours per year. The water used for cultivating the algae is water that is constantly being analyzes (pH, residue, ...).
